How to find and download a little things card as a PNG

Start with the 24-card selection

Open the homepage and scan the first 24 cards before expanding the full list. This smaller starting set makes it easier to notice a line instead of scrolling past hundreds of options. Choose a card because it recalls a specific person, place, routine, sound, or season. A useful card should immediately suggest an image or memory you could describe.

If none of the first cards fit, select Browse all 1,000 cards. The remaining cards expand on the same homepage; the button does not send you to a collection page. You can continue scrolling toward card one, or use the search box above the grid to narrow the list without creating a separate result page.

Search by number or by the words you remember

Enter a card number when you already know it. You can also search a word such as rain, friend, morning, food, music, home, or travel. Search checks both the number and the card text, so a short concrete word usually works better than a complete sentence. Clear the search field to return to the normal homepage selection.

Read the complete result before downloading it. Similar cards can point to different stories, and the best visual color is not always attached to the best wording. The downloaded PNG reproduces the selected card, so this is the moment to confirm the text, number, background, and contrast.

Open the card tools without changing the page address

Select a card to open the large card view. It appears as an overlay above the homepage, and the browser address remains the homepage. The right side shows the complete wording and actions for downloading or bookmarking. You can close the view with Back to all cards, the close button, or the Escape key.

The Another little thing button replaces the open card with a random prompt. Use it for discovery, but remember that it changes the card currently shown in the overlay. Check the number again before pressing Download PNG so that the saved file matches the card you intended to keep.

Download and verify the PNG

Press Download PNG. The browser creates a 1500-by-1000 image and starts a normal file download. The filename follows the pattern 1000-little-things-[number].png, which makes cards easy to sort numerically. The card is generated on demand, so you do not need to visit an image-hosting page or copy a screenshot from the browser.

Open the downloaded file before using it. Confirm that the whole sentence is visible, the number is correct, and the watermark is present near the lower-right corner. If your browser asked where to save the file, note that folder. Otherwise, check the browser's Downloads list or your device's default Downloads folder.

Organize the card for later use

Keep the original numbered filename if you plan to collect multiple cards. You can place them in folders such as friends, family, routines, places, food, or future videos. If you rename a file, retain the card number so you can find the same prompt on the homepage again.

A downloaded card works well as the opening image of a personal post, a private journal prompt, a moodboard title, or a reference while choosing photographs. Downloading the image does not automatically add it to this site's bookmarks. Use the bookmark action separately when you want the card to appear in your on-site saved list.
